As construction manager for Minnetonka Public Schools, Stahl completed additions to and renovations of both Minnetonka East and West Middle Schools, and Minnetonka High School.
Both middle schools underwent extensive renovations that included technology access throughout each school, state-of-the-art science classrooms, expanded multiple-use cafeteria areas, band and pool accessibility at West Middle School, and new conference rooms. The Minnetonka High School project provided approximately 135,000 SF of new space and 255,000 SF of renovated space. Every room in what is now an almost 400,000-SF building was touched. In addition, most of the renovation and addition work was done while more than 2,000 students continued to attend class.
The high school project consisted of two phases. Phase I included site development and the addition of classrooms. Phase II included interior remodeling and the addition of a kitchen cafeteria, two-bay gymnasium, and a multi-purpose facility. As part of this project, Stahl also constructed the 695-seat Minnetonka Cultural Arts Center.
