Eagan Community Center & Band Shell

The design of the new Eagan Community Center focused on the creation of a community gathering space that is sympathetic to the natural contours of the city’s surrounding Central Park. The facility includes a gymnasium, fitness center, performance studio, indoor track, locker rooms, senior and teen center, four-level children’s play center, meeting rooms, banquet room (seating up to 350), and concession area.

The lobby consists of a 40-foot-tall two-story space, and features a monumental stair, fireplace, and a two-story glass curtain wall which visually connects the interior space with the surrounding natural setting.

The band shell was a unique joint project between the Eagan Rotary Club and the City of Eagan.
