Lane Schoening

President

As President, Lane provides leadership for Stahl’s construction and project management operations. He helps align the company’s strategic vision with day-to-day execution. From the earliest planning stages, Lane works with project teams to set clear goals and guide successful outcomes. In addition, he provides valuable insight into constructability, scheduling, and logistics.

Lane is a direct and effective communicator who approaches challenges with a solutions-focused mindset. He values open and honest communication and provides both positive and constructive feedback. As a result, he helps team members grow and perform at their best. Most importantly, Lane leads by example and consistently upholds Stahl’s core values.

Outside of work, Lane enjoys spending time with his family and three dogs. He is passionate about outdoor activities, including watersports, mountain biking, camping, and snowboarding. He also enjoys golfing with his son whenever he can.

In addition, Lane is committed to serving his community. He is a youth group leader for middle and high school students, serves on his church council, and volunteers with organizations such as Hearts and Hammers, Place of Hope, and the Senior Citizen Partnership.

Lane is also dedicated to lifelong learning. He has completed continuing education through the Associated General Contractors of America, Arizona State University, OSHA, and the University of Minnesota. Furthermore, he has completed Lean Kaizen training and is an active member of the Lean Construction Institute. Before beginning his construction career, Lane served as a security police officer in the U.S. Air Force.
