Lane Schoening

Vice President

As Vice President, Lane oversees Stahl’s construction and project management operations, ensuring that both internal and external project goals are met. He plays a significant role in the early stages of projects, setting goals for the construction team and providing valuable insights on constructability, scheduling, and logistics.

Lane is a clear and effective communicator who confronts issues directly. He is open and straightforward, quick to provide both positive and corrective feedback, and strives to bring out the best in people. Regardless of the circumstances, Lane strongly adheres to the company’s core values.

Lane has completed continuing education classes through the Associated General Contractors of America, Arizona State University, OSHA, and the University of Minnesota. He has also completed Lean Kaizen training, is an active member of the Lean Construction Institute, and served as a security police officer in the U.S. Air Force.

In his spare time, Lane enjoys spending quality time with his family and two dogs, participating in triathlons, and engaging in a variety of outdoor activities such as watersports, mountain biking, camping, and snowboarding. He also takes pleasure in cheering on any team his son is playing on. Lane is a youth group leader for middle and high school students, volunteers on his church council, and donates his time to Hearts and Hammers, Place of Hope, and the Senior Citizen Partnership.
