Ankeny Innovation Hub

The Innovation Hub represents a progressive initiative designed to address the growing needs of the expanding Ankeny community. As the community continues to grow, demand for enhanced infrastructure, particularly in education and youth career development, is increasing.

Construction is currently underway on a new educational center that supports the community’s youth. This school serves not only as a space for traditional learning, but also as a platform where students access resources that strengthen their education and expand career opportunities. The approach integrates existing programs with expanded pathways, offering specialized experiences in fields such as culinary arts, technology, construction, agriculture, welding, automotive, and robotics.

These programs are designed to equip students with practical skills and knowledge, preparing them for long-term success. A key component of the project is collaboration with local community colleges, creating a connection that supports a seamless transition from secondary education to higher education while enhancing career pathways.
