The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office is a state-of-the-art facility supporting a wide range of law enforcement functions. It is has dedicated areas for patrol, administration, civil and transport, criminal investigation, records management, SWAT team, water rescue unit, and special operations.

In line with the State of Minnesota’s commitment to sustainability, the project strictly adhered to the Buildings, Benchmarks & Beyond (B3) guidelines. These guidelines ensure that the construction and operation of the building meet high standards of environmental responsibility and energy efficiency.

Revolutionizing Forensic Science

The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office represents a significant step forward in law enforcement infrastructure, combining cutting-edge technology, comprehensive facilities, and a commitment to sustainability. This lab is the first of its kind in the nation, equipped with advanced capabilities for fingerprint analysis, drug testing, DNA analysis, and other forensic disciplines.
