Hyatt Place at Custom House

This riverfront project involved renovating a five-story Hyatt Place hotel located within the historic United States Post Office and Custom House building in Lowertown, St. Paul. The first floor features a shared lobby for hotel guests, a restaurant, and residential tenants. Floors two through five house a 149-key hotel with a pool, meeting spaces, a fitness area, and a lounge.

Highlights of the project include modernizing three historic elevators and the exterior window systems. To maintain the exterior façade, the new windows incorporate a 1930s design.
