Pella Recreation Center

The new 78,000-square-foot Pella Recreation Center is a bold investment in the health, recreation, and social vitality of our community. Designed for all ages and fitness levels, this year-round facility will serve as a vibrant hub for sports, wellness, leisure, and connection—bringing people together and enhancing quality of life.

A Hub for Wellness, Community, and Growth

Thoughtfully planned to meet the evolving needs of Pella’s growing population, the center will also attract regional tournaments and events, supporting local businesses and driving economic growth. Key features include four court gymnasiums, 8-lane competition and recreation pools, a boulder climbing wall, an indoor walking track, and two fitness rooms.

Both Pella High School and Pella Christian School will utilize the facility for their swim teams and are proud financial supporters of the project—underscoring the center’s role as a shared community asset.
