Bringing the Ankeny Innovative Hub to life requires a team with both strategic leadership and boots-on-the-ground expertise. At the center of that work is Brian Norton, Senior Project Manager, and Brent Chrast, Project Superintendent, whose combined experience is helping bring the district’s vision to life with a new, state-of-the-art facility.
As Senior Project Manager, Brian Norton is guiding the project from planning through execution, working closely with Ankeny Community School District and INVISION Architecture to align scope, budget, and schedule. His experience leading large educational projects and his collaborative approach help keep the team focused on delivering a facility that will expand career and technical education opportunities for students across the community.
In the field, Brent Chrast leads day-to-day construction operations. With more than 20 years of industry experience and a background in education and public-sector projects, Brent is responsible for scheduling, site logistics, safety, and trade coordination. His proactive approach and ability to keep complex projects moving efficiently are key to maintaining momentum and quality throughout construction.
Together, Brian and Brent bring complementary strengths that are helping deliver one of Ankeny’s most forward-thinking educational investments. Their leadership, collaboration, and commitment to excellence ensure the Innovative Hub will provide students with hands-on learning opportunities and career pathways for years to come.
