Brad Nelson
Safety + Quality Manager
Brad oversees the safety and quality of Stahl’s operations. He firmly believes that quality in construction is not an act, but a habit, and that safety is not a slogan, but a way of life. Together, these principles build a foundation of trust and integrity that lasts longer than any structure.
Brad holds a degree in Construction Engineering from North Dakota State University and maintains numerous safety certifications. He stays current with safety and quality training, bringing a wealth of expertise to his role. Additionally, Brad is pursuing certification as a Certified Health and Safety Technician (CHST).
With an interest in design, Brad chose to study construction engineering. He now has over two decades of experience in the industry, building an extensive background in engineering, safety, and project management. He firmly believes in the power of close-knit industry relationships for effective problem-solving, saying, “the answer is not always a textbook solution but rather an equitable one.”
One of the driving forces in his work is the deep satisfaction he gets from witnessing the transformation of an idea into reality. From conceptualization and design to the actual construction phase, Brad finds it rewarding to see a physical manifestation that reflects another’s vision and his work.
Brad’s profound passion and dedication to his work have often led him to be labeled as a “workaholic.” To bring more balance to his professional and personal life, he has been prioritizing physical fitness as a way to rejuvenate. Brad has also found joy in woodworking, which serves as a creative outlet during his free time.
